All presentations, both on Mondays and Wednesdays, will originate at 4 PM Eastern time via Zoom Webinar. Since this may not be a good time for some attendees, we are recording every session and will make it available to all ticket holders within 24 hours. The main drawback to not being there for the live presentation is that you won’t be able to ask questions or participate in the “after party” in the VIP Lounge.

All presentations will be archived on the site and you will be able to stream them on demand, any time of the day or night. You simply login with your registered email address and your password. After you login to your account you will see a link to a page called Recordings . You can then select the date and recording that you would like to play.

We will archive all the recordings on the site until December 31. We intend to make all the presentations available to the general public on YouTube, beginning in the spring of 2022.

To meet the speaker: If you are holding the VIP ticket, then you can meet the speakers via the Zoom meeting platform immediately after their presentations (what we are calling the “After Party”), where you can talk to them in an informal session for about 30-45 minutes. To meet with other the participants: On the event page you will find the area that says ‘Networking Rooms’. Once you click that area you will enter in a zoom session with breakout rooms available and there will be instructions for how to join any breakout rooms. If you need help to join, there will be technical support available through chat. The chat support will be open on all event days from 9AM to 6PM ET.To find new connections, join the Networking room from the main hall and you will join a zoom meeting room with the instructions on the screen for how to see the other participants in other rooms, and how to join any of the rooms. In the rooms you can share your contact details and build your network.

There are two ways to enter the Exhibitor Hall. You can click on the banner of the sponsor whose pavilion you want to enter, or you can click on the door of the Exhibitor Hall and you will enter that hall and see all the pavilions, and then click on the one you want to enter. Once you enter a pavilion it will be like visiting a booth at an information expo. There, you will find links to specific information, videos, handouts and brochures, and there will even appointment books to meet with a representative of the company. There will be more information on all of this once we commence the program on May 17.

There will be a link on the home page and also in the Conference Center lobby that will connect you to our tech team. There will be a member of the team present during every session. If you are asking for support during a non-presentation time, the tech team will respond within 24 hours. For general questions you can also write to symposium@jwu.edu (or click on the support button) and you will receive a response within 24 hours.

By May 15 you will see a login button on the main page. You can click there and share your username (registered email address) and the password you registered with. Once you submit these details you will enter the main hall lobby. Then, click on the Presentation Hall and you will be admitted in for that day’s presentation.

On the main page you will see a Login button; next to it there is a link which say’s ‘Forgot Password’. Click to this link and it will ask to fill your email address. Once you submit your registered email address, you will get the password in your email.

The main difference is that the VIP ticket allows you you entrance to the VIP Lounge for the “After Party” following each presentation, where you will have additional time for Q&A and networking with other attendees in Zoom Meetings format. Throughout the Symposium other perks may also be offered to VIP ticket holders. The regular Season Ticket may be more advisable for those who know that the live sessions are not at feasible times for you due to work or time zone challenges. If you think you will mainly be attending sessions by on-demand streaming rather than during the live sessions, the VIP ticket may not be the right choice for you.

There are two options for a la carte tickets: a single session ($25) or a three pack ($50). These options are available when you press the Book Your Ticket button (ie Checkout). The a la carte tickets will still grant you access to the Sponsor Pavilions throughout the duration of the Symposium, and you can also upgrade to a season ticket or VIP ticket if you change your mind.

There is a Q&A option on your Zoom webinar and it will be monitored by the moderator. The questions will be conveyed to the presenter during the Q&A session at the end of each presentation (the formal presentations will typically be about 20 minutes long — or 45 minutes for demo’s —followed by 20-25 minutes of Q&A.

Use the directory to find people you want to meet with and then go to the Networking lounge and schedule a break-out room. These rooms will be available all day, 24/7. You may also make appointments with the various sponsors by entering their pavilion and using their appointments link.
